High-end sauna systems require precise temperature regulation, humidity control, and safety monitoring — but most commercial controllers are built for function over experience. The client wanted a bespoke control board for their premium sauna spa installation: something that was as sophisticated as the space it sat in, with real-time monitoring, programmable sessions, and safety interlocks that actually worked reliably.
We designed a custom controller board built around an STM32 microcontroller, with dedicated channels for temperature sensing (multiple PT100 probes), humidity monitoring, heater relay control, and safety cutoffs. The UI runs on a capacitive touchscreen panel mounted flush into the sauna wall — designed to withstand the high-humidity, high-temperature environment. A companion monitoring interface lets staff track session history and system health remotely.
The PN Sauna controller was installed and commissioned successfully, delivering stable temperature regulation within ±0.5°C across the session profile. All safety interlocks functioned correctly across stress testing. The client reported that the system had eliminated the manual intervention that their previous setup required.
